Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year
A bit about us: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Civil CAD Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to apply their expertise in developing detailed drawings and designs for civil engineering projects. As a Permanent Civil CAD Designer, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including drawing sequence, project site drawings, translating mark-up drawings, checking plot drawings, layout framing on projects, grading surface modeling, site design, determining earthwork volumes, and reading construction drawings. This position requires a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in the field. This role is supporting Civil Land Development Department.

Job Details Responsibilities:
- Utilize Civil 3D to prepare detailed engineering designs for a variety of civil projects including roads, site layouts, grading plans, and utility design.
- Prepare and modify plans, elevations, and detailed drawings from sketches, plans, and other input material.
- Check and plot drawings, layout framing on projects, and grading surface modeling.
- Determine earthwork volumes and manage site design.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure project accuracy.
- Perform design changes and improvements according to changing project demands.
- Provide technical support for design and construction teams.
- Ensure all drawings and designs adhere to established specifications and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, CAD technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and drafting.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and other relevant CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methodology.
- Able to determine earthwork volumes and layout framing on projects.
- Experience in grading surface modeling and site design.
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
