Job Overview:

RWJ Barnabas Health is seeking a Concierge to join our team in New Brunswick. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a similar concierge, receptionist, or customer service role
• Healthcare experience

Scheduling Requirements:

• Working Shift: Monday Friday
• Day Shift: 8:00AM-4:30PM
• Full-Time, 37.5 Hours Per Week

Essential Functions:

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly, outgoing, and professional manner
• Maintain patient information services at the information desk
• Provide directions, answer inquiries, and assist with patient and visitor needs
• Ensure patient confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of customer service
• Utilize computer systems to access and provide necessary information
• Work collaboratively with hospital staff to enhance the patient experience
• Handle and resolve patient or visitor concerns professionally and efficiently
