Electrical Construction Project Manager

Our client is seeking an Electrical Construction Project Manager to lead the way in commercial electrical construction projects. They are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to manage complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Focus:

• Plan, execute, and finalize electrical construction projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Coordinate efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
• Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
• Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary, during project cycle.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.

Skill Set:

• At least 5-7 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the field of commercial electrical projects.
• Strong familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.
• Experience in risk management and change management.
• A thorough understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
