Position: Electrical Company Warehouse Coordinator

The electrical warehouse coordinator will have day-to-day responsibility for maintaining and running the warehouse operations as well as responsibilities to be forward-thinking and contribute to our ongoing operational improvements by updating processes, improving the facility and equipment, and by feeding back necessary changes to management.

The primary function of this role is to control, manage and organize the electrical inventory being brought into the warehouse. In addition, the candidate will need to prepare installation crews with the necessary materials (a detailed list will be provided) to successfully complete their jobs each day.

Responsibilities :

• Maintains receiving, warehousing, consolidation and shipping operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operations, policies and procedures.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Manages the purchase and acquisition of electrical material/equipment to maintain appropriate stock to support operations.
• Maintain facility maintenance and upkeep along with cleanliness and organization of warehouse
• Verify that a safe working environment exists at all times and that safety regulations are followed
• Maintain proper and safe storage and handling of all materials within the facility
• Oversee daily receipt of merchandise (in-house and via carriers) and returns.
• Establish and monitor performance standards for all warehouse functions, including but not be limited to: equipment and housekeeping; assembly/value added production; pick, pack and ship orders; process returned merchandise; etc.
• Obtain pricing and order job or shop material, equipment or tools as required and approved by supervisor or his designee
• Deliver material, tools, or equipment to job sites as required
• Perform job preparation/pre-construction/pre-building tasks as required to facilitate field installations
• Schedule or monitor pickup, delivery, or distribution of products or materials
• Coordinate materials for multiple crews daily
• Conduct monthly inventory audits
• Other tasks as required by supervisor or his designee

Qualifications

• Electrical Warehouse/organizational experience
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills
• Maintain a drug and alcohol free workplace
• Knowledge of commonly used warehouse and inventory control processes
• Knowledge of commonly used material, equipment and tools normal to our trade
• Forklift experience required
• Inventory management systems experience
• Ability to manage others
• Superb attendance
• Must be able to upload documents, use Microsoft office, navigate CRM, and send emails
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Willingness to take on extra responsibilities when possible and be a team player!
