Family Law Attorney job at Gpac San Diego, CA, US

Job Description

GPAC, a 30+ years recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established firm in the legal industry. This is an amazing Hybrid opportunity for candidates who want to pursue a career in family law and join a reputable firm.

Responsibilities:

* Assist supervising attorney in management of family law cases
* Prepare letters, pleadings, declarations, lodgments, attachments to subpoenas, financial disclosures, mediation, and trial briefs
* Propound and respond to discovery, prepare meet and confer letters, and prepare motions to compel
* Telephone and email contact with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
* Prepare deposition outlines and exhibits
* Prepare witness questions for evidentiary hearings and trial
* Conduct legal research and prepare memorandums

Skills:

* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
* Admitted to practice law in California
* 2-5 years of experience in family law.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
