Job Description :

As the Fleet Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and management of all company vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and compliant with regulatory standards. You will be responsible for planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules, managing a team of technicians, and coordinating all necessary repairs. Your leadership will ensure the smooth operation of our fleet, reducing downtime and optimizing vehicle performance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and lead a team of technicians to perform regular and emergency vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all fleet vehicles.
  • Ensure all vehicles meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee inventory management of parts and supplies needed for fleet maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve vehicle performance issues, both in-house and through external vendors.

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all company equipment and machinery.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient and high-quality work.
  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on equipment
  • Maintain an inventory of parts and supplies needed for repairs and ensure parts availability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Track and report on equipment performance and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and track fleet performance.
  • Monitor and control budget for fleet maintenance, focusing on cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure fleet availability and readiness.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulations affecting fleet operations.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Fleet Maintenance Manager or similar role in fleet management or vehicle maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, diagnostics, and repair methods.
  • Familiarity with fleet management software and vehicle tracking systems.
  • Ability to manage a team effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with staff, vendors, and other departments.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
