LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a Production Control Supervisor / Master Scheduler to join their team in Glendale Heights, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, including proficiency in VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, etc., along with master scheduling experience. Heavy reporting experience is essential for this role, as the candidate will be responsible for analyzing data and providing insights to support production planning and control. A minimum of 1 year of leadership experience is required, along with previous experience in the manufacturing industry. Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies is highly preferred. Competitive Salary and Benefits Package (PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance) are offered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain master production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing inventory levels.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources to support production schedules.
• Utilize Excel and other software tools to generate reports and analyze data related to production performance, inventory levels, and production forecasts.
• Identify trends and patterns in production data, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements and cost savings.
• Lead and mentor a team of production control specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure departmental goals are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and streamline production planning and control processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to production planning and control.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• 1+ years of leadership experience in a production planning, scheduling, or related role.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, and data analysis functions.
• Experience with master scheduling and production planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
