Description of the role: Route 128 Honda is seeking a dedicated Service Manager for its Fixed Operations department. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving profitability. Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the service department including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement service strategies to increase customer loyalty and retention.
• Monitor service department metrics and implement improvements as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Work closely with other departments to achieve overall company goals.
• Handle customer escalations and provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise service advisors and technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in automotive service management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and service department software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in automotive technology or business management preferred.
