As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator at Windom Area Health, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. Your clinical expertise and leadership skills will be put to the test as you collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, monitor patient progress, and ensure that all patients receive the personalized care they need.

Location: Windom, MN

Schedule: Weekday shifts , with scheduled days varying based on staffing availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate outpatient and outreach clinic operations, including assisting the manager/supervisor in the day-to-day operations of various outpatient services to ensure optimal patient care and successful service lines.
• Provide direct patient care and support for physicians, including rooming patients for telemedicine visits.
• Submit prior authorizations and assist with policy creation.
• Promote and enhance the patient care experience through interactive communication skills with patients, families, peers, and providers.
• Assist and step in within the department as necessary to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the State of Minnesota with a minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Clinic experience is preferred.
• Experience in managing or coordinating clinic operations is a plus.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
